But seriously, how gorgeous are these landscapes by Russian photographer Daniel Korzhonov?
When looking at each photograph, the viewer can’t help but feel the shiver of a cold, snowy afternoon or drift away into the dreamy mist of a morning sunrise.
Korzhonov says his favorite genre is landscape photography. “I am attracted to the theme of man and the mountains: how man is small and helpless in comparison with the peaks of the mountains, but at the same time he can conquer it, can fight with itself and survive in the wilderness of rock, moving higher and higher.”

These have an otherworldly quality to them. Knowing that they, in fact, are photos of this same world reminds us of how amazing the world is. :)
Awesome… you have an eye for all things beautiful :)
I think that’s why I was so drawn to them- I’m reminded of photographs of underwater caverns, that look alien and too complex to be real.
Thanks PJ :)
