Crimean Winter Landscapes

Romance.

But seriously, how gorgeous are these landscapes by Russian photographer Daniel Korzhonov?

When looking at each photograph, the viewer can’t help but feel the shiver of a cold, snowy afternoon or drift away into the dreamy mist of a morning sunrise.

Korzhonov says his favorite genre is landscape photography. “I am attracted to the theme of man and the mountains: how man is small and helpless in comparison with the peaks of the mountains, but at the same time he can conquer it, can fight with itself and survive in the wilderness of rock, moving higher and higher.”

The World Inside of Us

Series: “The World Inside of Us”

Artist: Dan Mountford

Via Fubiz,

l’artiste Dan Mountford originaire de Brighton nous montre l’étendue de son talent autour de l’idée d’une double exposition. Jouant sur les visages et les formes qui se dégagent, la série de visuels est à découvrir dans la suite de l’article.

Roughly translated, the artist Mountford is playing with double exposure. And that’s as far as my french goes.

Picture proof- Part I

I was going through my pictures folder recently and realized I didn’t have many that I actually took. Photography used to be a regular hobby of mine; unfortunately I lost a lot of pictures that I was really proud of when my hard drive died. I am now a strong advocate for external hard drives.

Anyway I thought I’d share some of the few pictures I still have. These are from a trip to Hawaii I took in 2008. I have a lot of pictures from the trip, but these are my favorites.
